Presentation

Welcome to the Bogensparr website! This is only a brief presentation of our commoner coat of arms and with the respect of what is private without further details. In addition to our coat of arms, we also have a previous surname, which is an English surname Bull and that our origin comes from the Nordic countries, but also Ireland and Scotland. We do not have any other websites on the internet or social media that represent Bogensparr.

Bogensparr coat of arms

The Bogensparr coat of arms consists of a red Celtic dragon spraying fire and holding a bow. The bow symbolizes defense and the dragon symbolizes honesty, wisdom and strength. The coat of arms consists also of a helmet and a helmet cover with the colors red and silver. Through modern times, dragons have changed their appearance through art, heraldry and much more. Dragons have always been popular and are very often seen on many coats of arms.

Celtic dragons

There are several Celtic dragons but primarily two different types of dragons that are recorded. The first dragon has four legs and with wings and the second dragon is a sea serpent without wings but can also be depicted with wings. Dragons in Celtic mythology are the most powerful beings. The dragon is a creature mysteriously full of power and strength.

Bogensparr coat of arms flag

The Bogensparr coat of arms is depicted in its entirety and occupies most of a rectangular flag. We don’t use the usual heraldic rules of how to design a coat of arms flag, usually with just the dragon. We follow what has become more popular and common in many other countries with the coat of arms and accessories.
